Shalom MVF Family.
Welcome to a new weekly political post to represent the 3 things that we should keep in mind when it comes to politics:
1. Pray for our leaders. (1 Tim. 2:1-4)
2. Get involved in your community and the laws that surround you. (Matt. 5:13-16)
3. Use your right to vote as a voice to send a message for change. (Phil. 2:3-4)
Every week I will be adding events, impactful scenarios, issues and problems that we need to be concerned with as Believers, not how we differ politically, e.g. left, right, or center.
I will be inviting you to stay informed and to participate. Contact me by email on issues you have questions about or would like to know more about.
In Yahshua’s Service,
Jay Fox
PRAY: “First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.” (1 Timothy 2:1-4, ESV)
ACT: “You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people’s feet. “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.” (Matthew 5:13-16, ESV)
VOTE: “Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. (Philippians 2:3-4, ESV)

Yay!!! Love this! We need exactly this! Shalom
